What a great site! Love the set up. I'll tell our FN about your provider so we can get one up and running.

Texas:

I was online looking for information on the Knights of Columbus within the New Hampshire area, as well as the 4th Degree level, and was directed to the Monsignor Buckley Assembly as well as the Salem, NH site. Although they are in different areas, they both give me a clear picture of how active the Order is within NH. I did get to visit the NH State site and was disappointed at how hard it was to navigate and how cluttered it was with old news. I was looking for new information and couldn't find anything that was current and or pertinant.

Congratulations to "New Hampshire's Capital Sir Knights" of the Monsignor Buckley Assembly and the Salem Council for giving me what I needed to know.

Pledge of Allegiance:

"I pledge allegiance

to the flag of

the United States of America

and to the republic for which it stands:

one nation under God,

indivisible, with liberty

and justice for all."

Patriotism and Fraternalism:

Patriotism and Fraternalism

Patriotism has been one of the four principles of the Knights of Columbus since the Fourth Degree was established in 1900, with a ceremony on George Washington’s birthday, February 22nd.

(Patriotism and Fraternalism, by Christopher Kauffman, is a history of the Fourth Degree published in 2001.) Each of the major jurisdictions of the Order has its own version of the Fourth Degree Ceremony, with each focusing on the distinctive history of Catholicism in that particular country.
